March 7, 2008 March 7, 2008As a member of the Body of Christ, I feel we need to know WHEN to keep the Holy Days God has commanded us to keep. We would not consider keeping the seventh-day Sabbath at a time other than when God tells us to keep it (Friday at sunset to Saturday at sunset). Only God can make time Holy. And if we want to worship and honor God during this time, God's Holy Days, we need to know WHEN that time is. We should not just keep days, at a time, when men tell us to keep them. We need to do our best to KNOW WHEN God's Holy Days are.
I also do not want people to think I am trying to push my ideas on anyone. I want to learn what is right along with everyone else so that we can all keep the Holy Days, God has commanded us to keep, at the correct time. I am only providing information for brethren to have access to. I am hoping some of you brethren can work with me to understand what God's will is pertaining to His Holy Days and or "calendar".
I believe that I may have found most of the solution to the calendar issue. But I still do not want people to think I am pushing my views. I am going to give people a chance to see my solution and make up their own minds. a. Christian Biblical Calendar - This is a new version (10.0) of the main Calendar module. (18 Nov 2002) This version checks for years where there may be a choice of two months during which the Abib barley may ripen and displays results for both months. It also allows users to correct the output for their location on the globe in relation to the International Date Line. A printer bug affecting the included New Moons module has also been fixed. A full set of new calendar modules will be available shortly at Central Highlands Christian Publications, metioned above.
3a. A Calendar Calculator from the organization mentioned in # 3 above. This file should be put into a folder or directory of it's own and then run. It will furnish you with a DOS program, Biblcal.exe, to calculate varius calendar information. It will give you "NEW MOON" probability and Holy Day dates for what ever year you request. It will work under "Windows".
